What happened?
Sangfor - a cybersecurity firm - published a technical breakdown of how an attacker can redirect OpenClaw into connecting to a server they control. When OpenClaw connects, it hands over its authentication token. That token is the equivalent of a master key. Whoever holds it can connect to your local agent and operate it as if they were you.
The exploit targets a design behavior, not a code defect. OpenClaw connects to servers and authenticates itself automatically - that's how it works. The attack exploits the trust your agent places in the servers it talks to.
